The walk today started in the village of Edale and then headed towards Nether Booth. Before reaching the village I turned to cross the railway line and River Noe. Then I climbed up onto the Ridge near to Back Tor. I walked up Back Tor and on to Lose Hill where there were good views under the circumstances. Next I retraced my steps back to Back Tor then continued along the Ridge to Hollins Cross and Mam Tor. It was much cloudier at this point. After crossing the road at Mam Nick I walked along Rushup Edge (not seeing Lords Seat as the cloud was too thick) and then down Chapel Gate to Barber Booth and back to Edale.
