Overbeck Car Park - Yewbarrow - Dore Head - Red Pike - Scoat Fell - Steeple - Haycock - Pots of Ashness - Seatallan - Greendale Beck - Greendale Village

 

 

 

 

 

 

A great day for walking and also sunny and warm. In fact I got a bit of a tan on this walk. Started from Overbeck Car Park and walked up Yewbarrow. Great views on the ascent around Bell Rib and Great Door. Went across Yewbarrow and then descended to Dore Head by way of Stirrup Crag. From Dore Head we climbed to Red Pike. After a short break we continued on towards Scoat Fell and Steeple. We decided not walk up Steeple. Instead we carried on to Haycock. This was the first fell of the day I had not climbed before. We then walked on to Seatallan (my second unclimbed fell) via the Pots of Ashness. Our return was down Greendale Gill to Greendale village.
