This was an excellent walk in very scenic countryside in Derbyshire and Staffordshire. It was a very hot day with temperatures soaring up to 28°C. Except for one field the ground was firm (surprising after all the rain in previous weeks). Lots of water was drunk during the day and the checkpoints were working flat out. A well earned meal and drinks were awaiting our return. Well done to all concerned in organising a great event.
