WALK NOTES

Ilam Village - Ilam Country Park - Musden Low - Doglane Farm - Calton Village - Musden Wood - Rushley - Ilam Country Park - Ilam Village

This was the first walk of the day starting from the lovely village of Ilam. Although the weather was sunny and dry it was very hazy. I made a detour to Musden Low which is between Ilam and Calton. The views were good in all directions. The village of Calton is small but very nice and quiet. The path through Musden Wood was very easy to follow. After wandering around Ilam Hall grounds for a short while I had lunch in the village before setting off on my second walk of the day.
