NOTES
|
St
Johns in the Vale Church - High Rigg - St Johns in
the Vale Church
A short walk from St Johns in the Vale Church to High
Rigg (well not so 'high' really). My walk was towards
the end of the day and all the clouds were clearing
to leave lovely blue skies. The path to the summit
was not too clear and I had to fight with lots of bracken.
I visited another top on the ridge before arriving
at the summit. There were great views to Skiddaw and
Blencathra as well as Clough Head. Above Clough Head
were lots of Paragliders. I also visted the church
at St Johns in the Vale. |
