On a bright
and slowly improving Sunday morning I travelled to
the Goyt Valley near Buxton for a short
walk to break in a new pair of boots. Starting from
near Errwood Reservoir I walked up "The Street" to
Pym Chair. From there it was along the ridge to Cats
Tor and the Torrs before reaching the highest point
of the morning at Shining Tor (559 metres). I returned
via Stake Side to Errwood Reservoir. The car park was
nearly full when I got back!! |
