As
I near the end of completing Wainwrights Eastern
Fells I decide to walk from Grasmere to Stone Arthur
(leaving only Hart Side left to do). It was a very
overcast day but all my fells were out of the cloud.
After completing Stone Arthur I walked up to Great
Rigg and then on to Fairfield. Then it was a steep
descent to Grisedale Hause and re-ascent to Seat
Sandal. I returned to Grasmere via the South Ridge.
It was very windy on the tops but there was no rain.
I met some walkers who had seen me via my website.
