My
GPS is a Garmin GPS MAP 60CS and is used
for navigation as well as usful walk data.
The statistics on every walk uses the GPS
data as well as mapping software. The details
from both should agree with each other. The
GPS is very useful as an altimeter as well
as compass etc etc.
