| The
forecast was not good with heavy rain predicted.
We set off from Rowardennan Car Park with all
our waterproofs on. The start of the walk took
us through a forest before reaching open moorland.
The path was well defined all the way to the
top. Views were not good at all with the rain
and low cloud. Once we reached about half way
up the mountain we entered the clouds. Then the
rain became very heavy and the wind picked up.
Absolutely no views from this point onwards.
Nearer the top the wind was very strong and one
could not see where they were going very easily.
Eventually we arrived at the summit. A very short
stop before descending back down the mountain.
Must do this walk again on a better day. |
